The School of Public Health’s curriculum emphasizes a mastery of traditional public health disciplines balanced with new approaches to improving health outcomes in diverse communities. The school’s degree programs prepare students for careers as public health researchers, planners and practitioners, as well as for entry into doctoral programs.

The School of Public Health has successfully used an innovative Problem Based Learning (PBL) curriculum that integrates traditional lectures and lab exercises, while focusing on emerging public health issues. Drexel students acquire a mastery of core public health topics, while developing critical thinking skills, an interdisciplinary approach to problem solving, and a commitment to self-directed, lifelong learning.

As a fully-accredited School of Public Health, we offer several graduate and doctoral degree programs, as well as a certificate program. In addition, the school also collaborates with other schools at Drexel University to provide joint degree programs.
