Dr. Snow Jones is an economist who does research on alcohol use and abuse and its impact on labor force outcomes and children's health; batterer program evaluation and intimate partner violence; women's health; and tobacco control. She has served as a consultant on a number of cost- effectiveness evaluations of programs that targeted children's health and has taught courses in Health Economics, Research Methods and Statistics, Mathematical Methods for Economics, and Cost Benefit/Cost Effectiveness Analysis. In addition, she has taught courses about ethics and the economics of social justice to theologians and MBA students. She received her PhD in Health Economics from The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and graduated cum laude with a BA in Psychology from Millersville University.
Research Interests: Women’s health, domestic violence, alcohol policy, tobacco control policy, welfare economics and social justice.
