Center for Academic Public Health Practice

Initiated in 2004, the Center for Academic Public Health Practice is the professional link between the Drexel School of Public Health and the Philadelphia Department of Public Health (DPH). The Center incorporates Drexel's academic resoures with the structure of the DPH's programs, public health interventions and policy-making, with the goal of improving public health service to all residents of the city of Philadelphia.

Drexel student are actively engaged in the Center's work, for which the DPH provides a wide range of service-learning opportunities.
