DrPH Student Profiles

Jonathan Purtle, MPH, MSc’s research is focused on trauma-informed public health policy and practice.  He is interested in the processes through which traumatic experiences become manifest in adverse health outcomes later in life and systems-level approaches to intervention.

Beatriz Reyes, MPH, earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Public Health in Health Promotion and Education at East Carolina University.

Kathleen Watson, M.A., Ed.M, is a mental health therapist who specializes in health behavior change (substance abuse, weight loss, relationship violence, etc.), with a background is in individual and group interventions.
