“Live it Well” is the title of our comprehensive campaign to launch the School’s next phase of growth. Specifically, the goal of the Live it Well campaign is to raise $35 million to augment our physical plant, expand student enrollment, build our doctoral and post-doctoral programs, increase the number and diversity of our faculty, and most importantly, continue to tackle critical and complex public health issues.

Here are some of the strategic investments we need in order to grow in size, impact, and effectiveness:

  • Endowed scholarships to ensure that an education in public health is available to all who are talented, motivated, and drawn to serve society in this manner.
  • Endowed fellowships to build our reputation for academic excellence and to provide the research “bench strength” that faculty need to compete for research grants.
  • Early-career professorships to endow positions that will support the most promising scholars during their first few years, until they can establish their research credentials and compete for research grants.
  • Endowed Dean’s Chair and Department Chairs to allow leaders to make strategic investments, support promising initiatives until they can attract external support, and address emergencies so they don’t become crises.
  • Funds to fit out and equip laboratories, classrooms, conference rooms to support our enterprise now and into the future.

Success in public health goes beyond impacting lives – it transforms them.  Help us transform Drexel School of Public Health into an even stronger force to meet the public health needs of today – and tomorrow.
