A panel discussion will take place highlighting the policy-relevant issues presented in the photographs of eight new Witnesses to Hunger from the Boston area. Witnesses to Hunger panel discussion will be moderated by Ellen Parker, executive director of Project Bread, with opening remarks by Congressman James P. McGovern. The panel will aslo include testimony by two Boston Witnesses and ABCD’s Director of Head Start, Yvette Rodriguez, with commentary by Megan Sandel, M.D. M.P.H., from Children’s HealthWatch, Boston Medical Center and responses from Senator Thomas M. McGee and Assistant Majority Leader Byron Rushing (invited) as well as other legislators. This discussion accompanies the week long Witnesses to Hunger exhibit from March 12-16 taking place at the Boston State House.
