Judith Klotz, DrPH
Judith Klotz received a Doctorate of Public Health in Environmental Health Sciences from Columbia. From 1984 until 2003 Dr. Klotz served as manager of Environmental Health and of Cancer Surveillance programs at the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services. Among her research projects were case control studies of radon and lung cancer, and of water contaminants and reproductive outcomes. She also coordinated NJ’s public health activities on indoor radon. Currently, Dr. Klotz is Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ School of Public Health and at the Drexel University School of Public Health where she has taught environmental epidemiology. Pertinent to this seminar, she co-chairs the radon subcommittee of the NJ Drinking Water Quality Institute.
