Carol A. Staubach, MPH, Sr. Vice President Well Now, Inc.
Carol A. Staubach, MPH, is a senior level health consultant in the design and delivery of integrated health risk management programs. She is adept at analyzing and modifying an organization’s existing processes to reduce the direct and indirect costs associated with employee absence, illness, and injury. Carol has assisted employers and third party administrators in developing and implementing effective wellness, disability management, and occupational health and safety programs with bottom line results. She has developed future-focused health promotion and disease management products deliver health counseling and educational interventions for employers and health plans. Her experience also includes creating medical case management services, provider networks, and early Return to Work programs within Workers' Compensation and non-occupational disability benefits administration. Carol was Director of Health Services for Consolidated Rail Corporation, a Class I freight railroad serving the northeast and mid-west United States. Carol served as Project Manager for the redesign of the injury management program. This innovative, cross-functional effort to control economic and human costs associated with occupational injuries resulted in a 50% reduction in lost time after an occupational injury in the first year after implementation of her teams’ recommended action plan. Carol has a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the Drexel University School of Public Health.
