Promoting Wellness through Collaboration: The Integration of Dental and Medical

AmeriHealth Mercy Foundation, in conjunction with Drexel
University College of Medicine and Temple University Kornberg
School of Dentistry, is pleased to offer this conference and
CME/CE opportunity with the goal of establishing an integrated
approach to patient care. In an age where integrated, holistic
care is at the forefront of thinking, it is natural that the dental
component of patient care be more closely aligned with
physical health care delivery in order to improve health
outcomes and reduce health disparities. This conference
will address some of the practical manifestations of the
collaboration of both physicians and dentists, who continue
to articulate the need and value of this integrated approach in
supporting a health home.
