Luisa Franzini, PhD
Luisa Franzini, PhD, is Professor and Division Director, Management, Policy, and Community Health Division at the University of Texas School of Public Health in Houston. She received her Ph.D. in Economics and Econometrics form the London School of Economics (England). After working as a theoretical econometrician, she is currently engaged in the fields of health economics and socioeconomic determinants of health. Much of her research focuses on health disparities and minority health. She has extensive experience in cost analysis, including assessing the cost-effectiveness of health related interventions and estimating healthcare costs.
