This seminar will explore the value of cross-disciplinary work in environmental health, specifically focusing on the use of economic approaches and methodologies to help solve complex environmental health problems.  A number of projects will be discussed, ranging from the use of econometric methods in exposure modeling to the application of economic data in reconstructing chronic dose in epidemiology.  It will also explore the importance of economic cost-benefit analysis to inform environmental health policy, as well as provide an economic perspective on the study of risk perception in occupational health.
