Bio Abstract

Yunwen Yang received her B.S. degree in Probability and Statistics from Peking University, China, obtained her Ph.D. in Statistics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign working under the supervision of Professor Xuming He.  In addition to her dissertation work on Bayesian empirical likelihood for quantile regression, she has participated in several research projects in biostatistics and climate studies through internships and collaborations with researchers at Columbia University, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Sanofi-Aventis.

Recent Research

Quantile regression, Empirical likelihood, Bayesian analysis, Mixed models, MCMC methods and Clinical trials.
