GROW Clinic Celebrates Philadelphia's Youngest Graduates

5/28/2008
Eighteen young children are back on the growth curve after being diagnosed with failure to thrive...and growing at a rate that's just right. They are on to new heights!

Children are referred to the GROW Clinic when they are falling "off" the growth curve because they are severely undernourished. If left untreated, these children could suffer serious developmental delay and be more prone to sickness. The GROW Clinic consists of a multidisciplinary team that works with families for an average of 18 months to get children growing at a proper rate.

When children begin to grow well, and get back on the growth curve, we consider it their first great success.  Now they have all the nutrition building blocks to reach their full potential.
