11/20/2007 Children in households with food insecurity increased, according to a new federal report With little fanfare, and with no good news to report, The United States Department of Agriculture's division, The Economic Research Service (ERS) released its annual report entitled "Household Food Security in the United States, 2006." 2/28/2007 Boston C-SNAP Principal Investigator testifies before the US House of Representatives Committee on the Budget Dr. Deborah Frank, MD, the Principal Investigator of C-SNAP in Boston, testified before the US House of Representatives Committee on the Budget on February 15th. Dr. Frank shared her expert knowledge about the current situation of hunger in America. She also shared stories from the clinic which brought a more human element to the debate. Read more

2/5/2007 C-SNAP Interviewer Reaches 2000th Family The 2000th familycaregiver was interviewed in the Emergency Department of St. Christopher's Hospital for Children as part of the National children's Sentinel Nutrition Assessment Program (C-SNAP).  C-SNAP began interviewing at St. Christopher's in February of 2005 and has been a steady presence in the Emergency Room ever since.
