The Principal Investigator of GROW, Professor Mariana
Chilton, gave a rousing presentation at an USDA-sponsored conference on October
12th. The annual meeting, called the Food Assistance and Nutrition Research
Small Grants Conference, was held in Washington,
DC where Dr. Chilton presented on
the issue of food stamps. The talk was entitled, "Wellbeing of Citizen
Children of Immigrants in Relation to Food Stamps and WIC".
