On July 18, 2007, Dr. Mariana Chilton, Principal Investigator of The Philadelphia GROW Project, was interviewed by Monsignor Kevin Sullivanon, host of JustLove a radio program airing on Sirius Satellite Radio's Catholic Channel. JustLove is a program dedicated to "advocating for a just and
compassionate society in which everyone -- young and old, citizen and
newcomer, Catholic and non-Catholic -- can live and thrive in peace and
safety." Throughout the discussion, Dr. Chilton highlighted several clear policy suggestions that could help reduce those who are food insecure, one of these being raising the minimium food stamp monthly allotment to meet a realistic healthy food plan.
