National Hunger Awareness Day 2008
Today is the day when you can make your friends aware of hunger in the United States.
Food Insecurity—the USDA’s term for being at risk for hunger—is associated with increased risk of poor health, increased hospitalizations, and developmental risk. Hunger is bad for children.
