Since March of 2005, The GROW Clinic was operating on a 1/2 day schedule on Wednesday mornings, until today.   The St. Christopher's Hospital administration realized that the number of children who came to the clinic had caused the clinic staff to stretch their schedules.  The waiting list was mounting.  Now, the GROW Clinic is open for a full day, every Wednesday.  "We were almost getting overwhelmed with all the pediatrician referrals," said Brenda Hoskins, Social Worker and GROW Clinic Coordinator.  Dr. Kersten, the Clinical Director, and the GROW Clinic team are now able to keep up with the demand.  Every week there is at least one, usually two new patients that visit with each team member.  In the meantime, the numbers of children being seen, and returning on a regular basis keep mounting.  And they are growing!
