The School of Public Health works closely with the Office in International Programs and the Vice Provost of Global Initiatives at Drexel University to leverage the resources of the university and harness opportunities to create unique, global health experiences.
As the world has become increasingly global, so have the demands for gaining knowledge, skills and competency in global health. Drexel recognizes this and the importance of positioning itself in the emerging global network of students and scholars. As such, the global engagement opportunities at the School of Public Health are in line with the new strategic goals being discussed at all levels of the university. In addition, Drexel University’s Office of International Programs also facilitates multidisciplinary, global programs across the university by bringing together stakeholders in a Council of International Programs (CIP).
The CIP enhances the global education of Drexel’s colleges and other academic units through partnerships with carefully selected international universities, and promotes global awareness and visibility through a Global Research and Academic Network, International Travel Awards for faculty and graduate students, and student programming.
