The Drexel School of Public Health honored newly-enrolled students at its annual Welcoming Ceremony and reception on Wednesday, October 24, 2007, in the historic rooms of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia.

MPH Class of 2009
Members of the Full-Time MPH, Executive MPH, DrPH and MD/MPH programs received pins embossed with the seal of the Drexel School of Public Health, and recited the school pledge, which references both the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Charter of the World Health Organization. Dean Marla J. Gold, MD, gave the keynote address. The pinning ceremony was originally conceived by Dr. Jonathan Mann (1947-1998), the first Dean of the School of Public Health.
