The School of Public Health graduated its Class of 2005 on Friday, May 20, at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, 260 S. Broad Street, in Philadelphia. The Commencement Address was given by this year's honorary Doctor of Public Service recipient, Linda M. Rhodes, Ph.D.

Timothy Spillane delivered the official Greetings from the Public Health Class of 2005, asking all in attendance, "moms and dads, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, mentors and friends, [to] join together with us. In our hands, we hold the candles of hope that will illuminate the future of our world."
