On Monday, May 2, 2005, the Drexel School of Public Health participated in national Cover the Uninsured Week activities by hosting three panel presentations, exploring different aspects of what it means to be without health insurance in America. The session was entitled “Windows on the Uninsured.”
Dr. Walter Tsou, President of the American Public Health Association, former Health Commissioner of Philadelphia, and an adjunct faculty member in the School’s Department of Health Management and Policy, introduced the session. Dr. Tsou’s remarks were followed by panel presentations representing:
