Associate Professor Longjian Liu, Dept. of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, presented his lecture "Gender Differences as a Clue for Healthier Aging: Asian Food" on October 4 in Paris, France, at a symposium on food culture: Building Food Culture and Education for Longevity. The symposium was supported by UNESCO and held on October 3-4. Prof. Liu is one of the lead investigators for the World Health Organization's Cardiovascular Disease and Alimentary Comparison Study, an international cooperative study on diet and primary prevention of cardiovascular disease.
