SPH Faculty receive State Grant for Cancer Education
Members of the Drexel SPH faculty, led by Prof. Lisa Ulmer, Chair of the Dept. of Community Health and Prevention, were awarded a grant of nearly $500,000 from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for their proposal for a Participatory Statewide Evaluation of the Pennsylvania Cancer Education Network. The proposed evaluation "is designed to understand the structure and functioning of the Cancer Education Network from a systems perspective, detailing and analyzing inputs, activities, outputs, and a chain of outcomes."
Other members of the evaulation team include Robert Simmons, Longjian Liu, Xiaohua Hu, Zekarias Berhane, and Jillian Baker.
