Student Presenter at PA Hunger Summit

Phyllita Bolden, a first-year MPH student at the School of Public Health, presented testimony earlier this year to the Pennsylvania Hunger Summit in Harrisburg, PA, describing her hands-on experience working with families at risk for hunger in the Philadelphia area.

Ms. Bolden was joined by officials from the Drexel School of Public Health and the Philadelphia GROW Project, led by Asst Professor Mariana Chilton, MD, MPH. The team was invited to speak before the Governor’s Inter-Agency Council on Food and Nutrition to help the state create a blueprint to end hunger in Pennsylvania.
