Dr. Arthur L. Frank, Professor and Chair of the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health, traveled extensively through SE Asia and India during the late days of November and early December. Beginning in Bangkok, Dr. Frank presented at the Princess Chulabhorn Research Institute meeting of the Collegium Ramazzini, of which he is a Fellow. After a research stop in Sri Lanka, he continued to India, giving talks at Integral University and the Sanjay Ghandi Research Institute in Lucknow, presenting to a joint labor - management safety conference in the steel industry in Visakhapatnam, while also visiting that city's Vizag steel mill, the largest steel furnace in India.

Proceeding to Delhi, Dr. Frank spoke at the 41st Annual Conference of the Indian College of Allergy, Asthma and Applied Immunology. He also spoke at the workplace-related conference for the Centre of Occupational and Environmental Health of the Maulana Azad Medical College, as well as the Department of Medicine CME program. These two programs were in honor of the Golden Jubilee of Maulana Azad. He also spoke at a Toxics Links meeting.
