August 2009: Dean Gold, with Ashley Peskoe (Drexel communication major) and Steven Squibb, (Drexel civil engineering major), was featured in a major story on Fox & Friends (FOX News national network) about Drexel's capability to deliver all classes online in case of a H1N1 outbreak.

May 14: Dean Gold was quoted in a May 14, 2009 Jewish Exponent article about the threat of swine flu and public reaction to the outbreak.

May 5: Dean Gold was quoted in a May 5, 2009 Philadelphia Inquirer article about the decision to close a New Jersey school after cases of swine flu were diagnosed.

April 27: Dean Gold answered questions from the public about the growing concern over the spread of the swine flu virus. Dean Gold was part of an online panel assembled by local ABC affiliate 6ABC--Action News, which also included Dr. Jerry Zuckerman of Einstein Hospital (Infectious Disease Dept) and Ali Gorman, RN.
