Eunice Omanga, a doctoral student at the School of Public Health, received a scholarship from the Delaware Valley Chapter & Mid-Atlantic States Section of the Air and Waste Management Association for her dissertation research on water quality and environmental health in Kenya.
Eunice, along with Dr. Yeetey Enuameh, who is also a doctoral student at the School of Public Health, was also recently awarded a Provost Fellowship from Drexel University.

The scholarship from the Air and Waste Management Association is for $1,500 and was awarded at a special ceremony. The award is to be used for books and stationary supplies. The scholarship was awarded to Eunice by Marjorie Fitzpatrick, who is the Scholarship Committee Chair for the Delaware Valley Chapter and the Vice Chair of the Mid-Atlantic States Section of the Air and Waste Management Association.
