Bio
Dr. Lê-Scherban received a PhD in epidemiology from the University of Michigan and an MPH in epidemiology and biostatistics from the University of California, Berkeley. Her research centers on health disparities with a focus on chronic disease disparities, life course determinants, and immigrant health. She has a focus on epidemiological methods, particularly as they relate to causal inference in social epidemiology. Her work has examined causal links between education and health; intergenerational socioeconomic influences on mental and physical health; neighborhood social contexts; and cardiovascular risk among immigrants.
