The Capacity, Capability and Coordination Assessment Tool (C3AT)
This tool was developed to evaluate disaster preparedness for natural and man made weapons of mass destruction at the inter-regional state or commonwealth/territory level, state, regional Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), and national levels.
Specific Aims of C3AT:
- Ascertain preparedness at the level of government one works in.
- Ascertain preparedness at the level of the primary region one works in that would be expected to be the response agency(s).
The Draft of this Assessment tool will be shared with the Regional Health Administrators at the State Health Officer's Meeting on May 18, 2006.
