Partners
The Center for Public Health Readiness and Communication works closely with a variety of partners and collaborators to improve the readiness of the public health community.
The CPHRC works with both state and federal agencies. These agencies typically fund various Center initiatives and work collaboratively with the Center to ensure that activities complement and correspond to State and Federal guidelines for preparedness. Partners include:
- Pennsylvania Department of Public Health
- United States Department of Health and Human Services, Region III
- The Center for Disease Control and Prevention
- Pennsylvania Department of Health’s Statewide Advisory Committee for Preparedness
Community partners and local health departments work with the CPHRC to ensure that the Center's work has value and applicability to the local community and region. Current community partners include:
- Philadelphia Department of Public Health
- Allentown Health Bureau
- Bethlehem Health Bureau
- Bucks County Health Department
- Montgomery County Health Department
- Mercy Circle of Care
- Delaware Valley Health Council
The CPHRC collaborates with a number of academic partners. With these partners we develop and share information on current methodologies and metrics for preparedness assessment across spectrum of health and public health services. Current academic partners include, but are not limited to:
- Civilian Medical Response Center (CIMERC)
- Thomas Jefferson University Hospital
- Temple University School of Medicine
- East Stroudsburg University
- Pennsylvania State University
