  • Disaster Information Management Research Center: This website of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the National library of Medicine serves as a gateway to federal emergency management and disaster preparedness resources.
  • Public Health Emergency.gov: This website of the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) provides information on Federal efforts to enhance preparedness planning and community resilience—such the National Health Security Strategy.
  • ASTHO Preparedness: This website of the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials contains a number of preparedness planning tools and information on upcoming events.
  • Flu.gov: This website of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services provides information on flu prevention, treatment, and vaccination for a variety of audiences—including health care providers, educators, and government officials.
  • DHS Preparedness, Response, and Recovery: This U.S. Department of Homeland Security website provides information on personal preparedness and federal response frameworks for bioterrorist attacks, disasters, and public health emergencies.

  • Environmental Protection Agency:  This website of the Environmental Protection Agency offers information related to preparedness and response for the community responders and the general public.
  • AHRQ Public Health Emergency Preparedness: This website of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality offers tools, resources, and guidance documents in community planning, mass prophylaxis, surge capacity, pediatrics, pandemic influenza, and provides modeling tools for a number of emergency response activities.
  • FDA Emergency Preparedness and Response: This website of the Food and Drug  Administration provides up-to-date information related to the role of FDA and the use of regulated products during emergencies.
  • Infectious Diseases Society of America: This website of the Infectious Diseases Society of America provides resource materials and clinical management guidance related to a range of biological threats.
