Faculty members from the SPH will have a major presence at the conference, including Dr. Stephen Lankenau, who will discuss the use, abuse and safety of medications. Dr. John Rich Named to Institute of Medicine Dr. John Rich, a professor and chair of the Department of Health Management and Policy at the Drexel University School of Public Health, was named this week to the Institute of Medicine (IOM). Election to the IOM is considered one of the highest honors in the fields of health and medicine and recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement and commitment to service. more...

Dr. Amy Auchincloss Asst. Professor, Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics Dr. Auchincloss recently published research on neighborhoods and diabetes. She is an expert on social and environmental determinants of chronic health conditions. Dr. Auchincloss received her PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Michigan. She also earned an MPH degree from Columbia University. Bio \| CV

9/21/2009 SPH Welcomes Class of 2011 and Returning Students The SPH welcomes the Class of 2011 and returning students to the fall term. The new class enters as one of the largest, strongest and most diverse classes in the history of the School of Public Health.

Faculty members from the SPH will present research and lead discussions throughout the conference, and the school will have a major presence at the conference and across the city.
